Things to do in Agadir

– Visit the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella :

Agadir Oufella is a hill topped Kasbah located roughly 7 km north of Agadir and overlooking the whole resort. The Kasbah was built in the 16th century, and was hosting around 300 families back in time. Because of the earthquake that struck Agadir in 1960, only the ramparts have remained. The views from there over the marina and the beach are stunning.

– Sunbathe in Agadir Beach :

The sandy Blue Flag beach of Agadir stretches over more than 9 km of golden sand beach, and is considered one of the most famous beaches in Morocco thanks to its warm winter sun.

– Visit the National Park of Massa :

If you fancy some bird watching, along with exploring some Berber country side and fishermen villages south of Agadir, then this place is perfect for you. Here, you will find some rare bird species on migration, including the Pink Flamingos.

– Visit Memoire d’Agadir museum :

This little museum located inside the Olhao Garden commemorates the 1960 earthquake.

– Sunbathe & surf at Taghazout Beach :

Taghazout is a small fishermen village located 20 minutes north of Agadir, and is a Mecca for Bohemian surfers especially in the winter season. It is a perfect location for a lazy day at the beach.
