Marrakech cooking class
Morocco was full of flavors that were new to us. We were serious newbs. We didn’t even know what a tagine was before we went on our Contiki trip.
Moroccan dishes are influenced by Berber, Jewish, Arab, and French cultures. We’ve put together a list of foods we think is worth trying while visiting Morocco.
Day 1/2: Marrakech
Want to lear how to cook a Tagine, Couscous, Moroccan salads, Moroccan pastries, or even a sefood Pastilla ? Then, you’ve come to the right place.
Our cooking class in Marrakech is far from the taking you into a hotel to watch a cooking demonstration. We offer you an authentic Moroccan culinary experience where you will go first into a riad located in the heart of the Medina, meet the chef and chat for a while to learn about the spices, oils and Moroccan food in general before you walk into the market to shop for today’s dish fresh ingredients. During the cooking course, you will have your own station where you will do all the cooking yourself with the guidance of the chef.
At the end, you will be able to dine on the dish you cooked yourself in the courtyard of the riad.
