Tips to driver and any personal expenses
A trip to the desert is probably a once in a lifetime experience and the 3 day trip is enough time to get a glimpse into what life in the desert must be like. Everything was well organised and the pick-up was on time. We had a great driver, Mohamed, who made the trip even more enjoyable 🙂 Bear in mind that it’s a long drive to Merzouga and stops are needed. I quite enjoyed all of our breaks and the guide were all very friendly too. The lunch places were a bit touristic but you still got decent meal for around 100 Dirham. As it’s Morocco, of course people will try to sell you something, but I never once felt obliged to buy something. The hotel for the first night wasn’t too bad, just don’t expect a European 4* Hotel. As far as the desert camp is concerned, expect a lot of people there
We had such an amazing tour to Merzouga. I would really recommend it. Definitely upgrade in the desert, it is seriously worth the money. Our driver was great and the stops along the way were cool too. Expect to tip a lot and be sold stuff along the way too!
Said is the best driver 🙂
Thank you for three days of fun, friendship and excitement.
Everything was well organized.
The road to cross through the atlas mountains is blocked in winter, the other alternative is going via Taroudant, with supplement of 10€ per person, it is mandatory.
